"A friend told me about how much fun Sam’s Zumba classes were and took me along one day. At the time I was very frustrated with myself, feeling very inactive, in the office all day, never having the energy to do anything fun after work or on weekends.
I had heard about Zumba but I had not really thought about trying it out, thinking I would just feel awkward with all the hype and dance moves I had seen on TV. And true: the first time I went it felt as if I had 2 left feet - but I absolutely LOVED it. I hadn't had so much fun in a long time and didn't feel out of place at all! Everyone was like me: just having a bit of fun and doing the best you can.
Sam is always cheerful and - as a personal trainer- has the knowledge and is happy to give advise on any fitness, health and food questions as well.
With Zumba exercise doesn't feel like a chore and it made me get more active.
I can't think that there would be anyone who couldn't do Zumba and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun way to get fit and stay fit."

"I used to be the consumate couch potato - if there was an excuse that could be found to talk myself out of exercise, then I knew it. Then last year I decided that my weight was getting a bit out of control and I really needed to take some action ... I started walking, but that was not giving me the results that I wanted and I still felt fat and flabby.
I saw the TV ads for Zumba and thought how good that looked, but again managed to talk myself out of it (I had bad memories of the aerobics in the 80's!)... until one of the women I work with said that she had started Zumba classes and that the instructor was really awesome and it was fun to do. I don't know how many times I talked myself out of it before I got to that first class - and after an hour of feeling like I had two left feet and no co-ordination, I was sure I would not be back. But the following day I could feel muscles that had not been worked in years, and so I did go back the following week --- and bought myself a concession ticket, to make sure I kept going. Once I got past those first few weeks, I was hooked .... and nearly a year later I am still going! Some weeks I go to two classes if I can - and still enjoy the workout and the company.
Within about 6 months, along with watching my diet and doing some walking too, I managed to lose 12kg ... and now over 4 months later I have managed to keep it off - and owe my newly found abs to Sam and her great Zumba workout. THANKS SAM!!!"
