Our Nutrition Approach

Our nutritional philosophy at Desire Fitness is simple – Just Eat Real Food. We recognize that every person has individual biochemistry and we work to tailor an eating plan that will work for each individual. We promote eating fresh, locally produced food, ideally organic. If you can avoid the supermarket for food you’re doing well!

Our eating plans are focused around:
  • Raw dairy products
  • Meat, fish and eggs
  • Vegetables and fruit
  • Nuts and seeds, including coconut
  • Some grains if well tolerated by the individual
  • Extras like honey and herbs, spices, vinegar etc

We recommend that our clients stay right away from wheat, sugar, processed foods and vegetable oils (corn, canola, soy, sunflower etc).

Another big part of our nutritional approach is cleansing toxins out of the body so all the good food and nutrition can have the best chance of making us optimally well. You wouldn’t make a beautiful, nutritious organic meal and serve it out of a dirty ashtray, so don’t put all that good stuff into a toxic body!
