Feta, yoghurt and sauerkraut workshop
Come and join local instructor Irma Jager and learn how to make Feta, Yoghurt & Sauerkraut.
Each participant will go home with a dripping Feta in the making and enough confidence and knowledge to finish (and eat!) the cheese at home. Irma will take you through the steps of making natural yoghurt, which is a very rewarding skill to have.
You will also learn how to make your own sauerkraut at home and get an introduction into Lacto-Fermentation. This is the old way of preserving raw vegetables and by eating products like sauerkraut you are adding 'good bugs' back into your digestive system.
Maximum number of participants: 14
Cost: $60 (incl. ingredients for feta, recipes for the three foods & light supper)
When: Sunday 9th Octoberr 1-4pm
